WELCOME TO FARNDALE

Unfortunately due to a suspected case of Blue Tongue in the locality the decision has been made to call off all sheep, cattle and goat classes.

Apologies for any disappointment.

The rest of the show will happen as usual.

Blue tongue is caused by a midge bite. It is not contagious. It does not affect and cannot be spread by humans.

Dogs can only get it by eating infected meat and that is extremely rare. More info here : https://www.gov.uk/guidance/bluetongue
